Bill McDowell was one of my favorites too—I seem to remember him having visited my home WCG church in Milwaukee before I went to AC Big Sandy. "Music with a k"! He never hid his sense of humor! Hope you, Nancy, the kids and grandkids are well.
Love, Greg

Hi Norm,
I was happy to see your name come up on this Big Sandy alumni site—I'd completely lost track of you after graduation. Also was pleased to learn that you and Nancy Windom got together. I thought she was one of the nicest and sweetest girls at AC. In my opinion she and you make a great match.
I don't know if you heard that our great friend Dennis VanDeventer passed recently—a big blow to me—he and I were really close but we drifted apart after after AC. I think it might have been because I drifted away from the WCOG some years after college, although we did have lunch together while he was head of safety and security at the Pasadena campus.
What you said about our experiences at ACBS really resonate with me . . . that it really was something special, regardless of the political and doctrinal circumstances that brought it all down. I really long to go back and walk our campus again, though recent pictures of it I've seen show it to be less well manicured than when we were there. Those days of music with Gary Briggs, Dr. and Mrs Walter and Mr Hegna are still precious to me.
Hope you are enjoying life with your extended family.
Love,
Greg
